On Jan 17, my friend Valerie passed away. Val wasn’t just a customer, she and her granddaughter Aaliyah wandered into my shop and I was astounded how mature she was for 12 years old. Aaliyah lost her Mum in at Tragic car accident at 2 years old and Valerie became her guardian. Over the years I’ve enjoyed every visit from them, and last year Aaliyah started helping me in the shop.
